Board Certified Ophthalmologist – Dr. Ross
Dr. Ross is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist in Austin who treats a wide range of eye conditions requiring medical and surgical management, including cataracts and glaucoma. Dr. Ross’ training includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics as well as a PhD in Atomic and Molecular Physics. He completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and Ophthalmology training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Ross was born in Boston, MA, but was raised from the age of four in Austin, where he attended McCallum High School. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, he returned to Austin for graduate school. Prior to going to medical school, he worked for several years in Austin in the electronics industry. He has been married for twenty years, and his wife is also a practicing physician.
